Roof Replacement
A new roof is a system, not just shingles. We build the whole thing.

The Service
How we approach it
When a roof reaches the end of its life, the answer is a complete system — not a cover-up. We tear off down to the deck, repair what the old roof was hiding, and rebuild every layer: ice and water shield at the eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment, new flashing, balanced ventilation, and the surface you choose — architectural shingle, metal, or tile. Built for the Salt Lake Valley's snow loads, freeze-thaw cycles, and high-altitude sun.

Why it's done this way
01
Full tear-off, every time
We remove the old roof completely instead of layering over it, so deck damage gets found and fixed — not buried.
02
Built for Utah winters
Ice and water shield at eaves and valleys stops ice-dam backup, and the system is specified for valley snow loads.
03
Ventilation done right
Balanced intake and exhaust extends shingle life, reduces attic heat in summer, and helps prevent ice dams in winter.
04
Material options that fit
Architectural shingle, standing seam metal, or tile — we walk you through lifespan, look, and cost so the choice is yours.
What's included
Complete tear-off
Old roofing stripped to the deck, with the property protected and debris contained.
Deck inspection & repair
Every sheet of decking checked; soft or rotted sections replaced before anything goes on top.
Ice & water shield
Self-sealing membrane at eaves, valleys, and penetrations — the defense against ice-dam backup.
Synthetic underlayment
A modern moisture barrier across the full deck, tougher and more stable than old felt paper.
New flashing throughout
Step, valley, chimney, and pipe flashing replaced — never reused from the old roof.
Ventilation upgrades
Intake and exhaust balanced to the attic, so the roof breathes and lasts.
Final cleanup & walkthrough
Magnetic nail sweep, full site cleanup, and a walkthrough of the finished roof with you.

Each signature system has its own materials, lifespan, and available palette.
Common questions
How do I know if I need a replacement instead of a repair?
Age, widespread granule loss, curling or brittle shingles, and repeated leaks in different spots all point to replacement. If a repair will genuinely solve it, we'll tell you that instead — the free inspection is where we sort this out honestly.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most residential replacements take one to three days once work begins, depending on roof size, pitch, and material. Weather can shift the schedule, and we won't open more roof than we can dry-in the same day.
What drives the cost of a new roof?
Roof size and pitch, material choice, the amount of deck repair needed, and details like chimneys, valleys, and skylights. We provide a free, itemized estimate after inspecting the roof — no obligation.
Can you replace a roof in winter?
Often, yes. We work through much of the Utah winter by watching the forecast, working in dry windows, and using materials rated for cold-weather installation. Some jobs are better scheduled for a warmer stretch, and we'll be straight with you about which is which.
Will insurance cover my roof replacement?
If the damage is from a covered event like hail or wind, it may. We document the damage thoroughly, provide the reports your adjuster needs, and can meet the adjuster on-site — but the claim decision is always your insurer's.
